About this item
The Triplett CamView IP Pro (model 8070) is a handheld tester for technicians installing and maintaining video surveillance systems. It displays live video from IP cameras (ONVIF, H.264) and SD analog NTSC/PAL cameras on a backlit 4 in. color TFT, powers the camera under test over PoE or a 12 VDC output, and drives analog PTZ heads through its RS485 port. A built-in DHCP server lets it configure and address cameras with or without a live network, while ping, network sniff, and subnet list functions cover the LAN-side checks.
This listing is the 8070 tester with cables, tool bag, and accessories, as titled. Triplett shipped the 807x series complete with a rechargeable battery, PoE power injector, network, BNC, RS485, 12 V output, audio, and USB cables, and a shoulder-strap tool bag; the photographs show the exact accessory set that accompanies this unit. Snapshots, recorded video, and camera reports transfer to a PC over the mini-USB port, and a flip-out QWERTY keyboard speeds up credential entry on site.
