About this item
The Eaton HFD3175L is a 175-amp, 3-pole molded-case circuit breaker from the Cutler-Hammer Series C F-frame line, built on the high-interrupting HFD frame for feeder and branch-circuit protection in commercial and industrial power distribution. It uses a fixed thermal-magnetic trip unit rated at 175 A continuous at 40 °C, with a maximum rating of 600 Vac (50/60 Hz) and 250 Vdc. UL interrupting capacity is 100 kA at 240 Vac, 65 kA at 480 Vac, and 25 kA at 600 Vac (22 kA at 250 Vdc). The breaker installs in Eaton Series C panelboards, switchboards, and motor control centers, or mounts individually as a feeder device.
The "L" catalog suffix denotes a complete breaker furnished with both line- and load-end terminals as standard, configured for cable-in/cable-out connection. The trip is factory-fixed and non-interchangeable, so no separate rating plug or accessory trip unit is required.
This unit is new but not in its original box, as listed. The photographs are of the actual item you'll receive, backed by our warranty.
