Allen-Bradley 1769-IF16C CompactLogix 16-Channel Analog Current Input Module

The Allen-Bradley 1769-IF16C is a 16-channel analog current input module for the 1769 Compact I/O and CompactLogix platform. It provides 16 single-ended, non-isolated current inputs, each accepting 0–20 mA or 4–20 mA signals from loop-powered transmitters and other current-loop instruments. Analog-to-digital conversion uses a sigma-delta converter at 16-bit resolution, with software-selectable notch filters (16, 50, or 60 Hz) for power-line noise rejection. The module wires through a 20-position 1769-TBNH removable terminal block and draws 190 mA at 5V DC and 70 mA at 24V DC from the backplane. It is used with CompactLogix / Compact I/O systems and MicroLogix 1500 (Series B) controllers for high-density current-loop acquisition in process-monitoring and machine-control applications.
