Anritsu CMA5000a Multi Layer Network Test OTDR/SOURCE VFL

The Anritsu CMA5000a is a modular, multi-layer network test platform built for carriers, contractors and lab teams that want one mainframe to characterize both the fiber plant and the services running over it. Swappable application modules cover OTDR, chromatic and polarization mode dispersion, optical spectrum analysis, SONET/SDH and Gigabit Ethernet testing, all driven from a 10.4-inch XGA touchscreen with USB, 10/100 Ethernet and RS-232 connectivity. Anritsu’s OTDR modules for the platform span eight wavelengths from 850 to 1625 nm with up to 50 dB of dynamic range, and add dedicated Fault Locate, Construction and PON test modes with dead zones as small as 1 m.
