The Cisco ACE 4710 Application Control Engine is a 1RU application delivery appliance — Cisco's dedicated platform for server load balancing and content switching, with hardware SSL offload, HTTP compression and virtualized contexts that consolidate multiple traffic-management deployments onto one box. Capacity scales by software license up to 4 Gbps of throughput.
