About this item
The Emerson KL2101X1-BA1 is a CHARM I/O Card (CIOC), the head of a DeltaV Electronic Marshalling node. One CIOC serves up to 96 individually characterized I/O channels across eight 12-CHARM baseplates, and communicates with DeltaV controllers over redundant Ethernet through the CHARM I/O carrier. CIOCs are normally installed as redundant pairs, so a single card failure never takes down the I/O.
