This Emerson smart switch builds the Local Safety Network (LSN) for DeltaV SIS, the dedicated Ethernet layer connecting CHARMs Smart Logic Solvers and SZ controllers. The LSN is certified for use in SIL 3 applications and runs over Category 5e screened cable, with fiber used for runs beyond 100 meters or between buildings. This model (Emerson designation FP20-6TX2SM) provides six 10/100BASE-TX copper ports plus two 100BASE-FX single-mode fiber SC uplink ports.
This listing is for one LSN20-6TX2SM-ES switch in new open-box condition. The -ES suffix is the extended-specification build, which Emerson requires where high temperature or conformal coating is called for.
