The Hitachi SJ700D-550HFUF3 is a 400 V-class variable frequency drive from the SJ700D-3 series, Hitachi's high-performance inverter line, sized for 55 kW (75 HP) constant-torque or 75 kW variable-torque motors. Its sensorless vector control delivers over 200% starting torque at 0.3 Hz, and Hitachi's 0 Hz-domain control mode maintains torque at standstill, which is why the series is specified for cranes, hoists, extruders, and conveyors as well as pump and fan loads. The drive runs both induction and permanent-magnet motors and carries an EMC filter, RS-485 Modbus-RTU communication, and Hitachi's EzSQ onboard programming as built-in features.
