The Emerson KL3021X1-BA1 analog input CHARM characterizes a single 4-20 mA HART loop for DeltaV Electronic Marshalling. Because each channel gets its own CHARM, I/O type decisions move from the card level to the individual signal - any of the 96 channels on a CHARM I/O Card can be analog in, analog out or discrete, with HART v7 data passed through to AMS device management.
