About this item
The Allen-Bradley 1747-AIC is the isolated link coupler for the SLC 500 platform: it ties SLC processors, HMIs and programming terminals into a DH-485 network over a 6-position removable terminal block, with a 1500 V isolation barrier protecting the connected device from network-side electrical faults. DH-485 daisy-chains built with AIC couplers can run up to 1219 m (4000 ft) end to end.
This listing is a tested unit in the original Allen-Bradley box, and it ships with the installation manual and the communication cable shown in the photographs.
