About this item
The Topcon SL-100 is job-site connectivity hardware rather than an optical or laser instrument: a ruggedized enclosure housing Topcon’s SL-R3 SiteLINK cellular radio modem. Fitted to a dozer, grader or excavator running Topcon 3D machine control, it puts the machine on Sitelink3D, Topcon’s web-based network for real-time job-site management, data transfer and remote system support.
The modem reaches the internet over GPRS, EDGE or 3G through its SIM card slot and ties into the machine’s control electronics via the Topcon MC-R3 GNSS receiver box, with a Bluetooth link (blue status LED on the housing) for short-range connections. Topcon supplied the SL-100 both as a retrofit for existing 3D-MC installations and factory pre-installed on new systems. This listing is for the Japan-made SL-100 unit shown in the photographs.
