The Trimble SPS930 is a robotic universal total station for construction positioning, stakeout and fine grading, delivering 1" (0.3 mgon) horizontal and vertical angle accuracy per ISO 17123-3 with a dual-axis compensator. MagDrive electromagnetic servo technology turns the instrument at up to 115 degrees per second, and Autolock with robotic tracking works out to 500-700 m for one-person operation. The DR Plus reflectorless EDM reaches beyond 1,300 m to a 90% reflective surface (2,000-2,200 m in extended range mode), while prism measurements run to 2,500 m, or 5,500 m in long-range mode.
