The Sokkia SET530R3 is a 5-arc-second reflectorless total station from the Series30R family, aimed at boundary, topographic and construction-layout crews that need to shoot surfaces a prism can't reach. Its RED-tech II coaxial EDM uses a Class 3R visible red laser (690 nm) to measure reflectorless from 0.3 m out to 350 m, or up to 4,000 m with a single standard prism, while the 30x telescope, absolute encoders, dual-axis compensator and IP66-sealed housing handle everyday fieldwork. Graphic LCD displays on both faces let you read results from either side of the instrument, backed by roughly 10,000 points of onboard storage with RS-232C output.
