Cisco Meraki MX450-HW Cloud-Managed Security & SD-WAN Appliance

The Cisco Meraki MX450 is the highest-performance appliance in the Meraki MX series of cloud-managed security and SD-WAN gateways, built for large campuses, data centers, and distributed enterprises of up to 10,000 clients. It delivers up to 10 Gbps of stateful (NAT) firewall throughput, 5 Gbps of next-generation firewall throughput (7 Gbps in detection mode), and 6.5 Gbps of site-to-site VPN, while consolidating a Layer 7 next-generation firewall, intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS), content filtering, Advanced Malware Protection (AMP), and Auto VPN SD-WAN into a single 1U platform managed entirely through the Meraki dashboard. Connectivity comprises two 10G SFP+ WAN uplinks, eight 10G SFP+ and eight 1G SFP LAN ports, eight 1G RJ45 LAN ports, a dedicated RJ45 management port, and a USB port for 3G/4G cellular failover, backed by dual hot-swappable redundant power supplies.

This is the hardware-only MX450-HW SKU, listed as new and unclaimed — the appliance has not been registered to any Meraki organization, so it can be claimed directly into your own Meraki dashboard. As with all Meraki MX hardware, the appliance requires an active Meraki license to operate; licensing is handled separately from the hardware.
