Qualitrol 909-300-01 Seal-In (Latching) Relay

The Qualitrol 909-300-01 is a seal-in (latching) relay used with Qualitrol 900/910 Rapid Pressure Rise Relays and similar protective devices to capture and hold the momentary contact closures those instruments produce during a sudden-pressure event. When the upstream relay actuates, the 909 latches the alarm or trip circuit and lights its status and actuation LEDs, holding the condition until the front-panel button is manually reset, so a fast, self-clearing pressure transient cannot be missed. It provides two output relays and a redundant make/break circuit arrangement that guards against false trips caused by damaged wiring, and it is configurable for either VAC or VDC operation. The unit is UL certified for hazardous locations (Class I, Division 2) and is applied in transformer sudden-pressure protection schemes at utility and industrial substations.

This listing is for the 909-300-01 as specified at 24 VDC input, supplied new. It is a low-profile, surface-mount assembly with screw terminals and a manual reset button; the input voltage is jumper-selectable, so the same unit can be set for other supported VAC/VDC levels as the application requires.
