The Cisco ASR 1002-HX is the flagship 2RU fixed-configuration router of the ASR 1000 family, forwarding up to 100 Gbps for large enterprise WAN edge, aggregation and secure headend roles. Built-in connectivity is eight Gigabit Ethernet plus eight 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports (four of each active by default, the remainder enabled by license), with an EPA slot for expansion.
